Bundeswehr Schützenpanzer (MTW) M113 A1 in 1/35
Hello!
Here i show you my Bundeswehr M113 (Mannschaftstransportwagen). I drove this tank 1987 as young duty soldier, in a Panzergrenadierkompanie (armored infantry company). Basis for this Model is the Tamiya Kit. I build this tank in 1989-1991 without weathering. I panit this model with humbrol Enamels per hand.
The difference between an american and a german M113, are other frontlights, somke grenade launchers, MG3 machine gun and a lot of items inside the vehicle.
The rocket launcher beside the M113 is the anti tank Weapon MILAN.

"Another one Bites the Dust"
1/16 scale
100% "Scratch-Built" (MIA1 Abrams Tank)
The T-62 Turret was also "Scratch-Built"
This is something I did about 15 years ago.
Cheers,
Andy

1/35 ALL METAL.PANZERKAMPFWAGEN VI.
An exact duplicate of the Panzerkampfwagen VI, VK-45.01 H. Famously known as the Tiger 1. I built this model using various types of sheet metal. From 14,16,18,20,22 gauge. Welding with a tig welder. The gun barrel I've built it from a 1/2 inch alluminum rod. I've used a drill press as a mill. The suspension works like the real deal. The shafts are made from a 1/8 metal rod. Bent and filled. The only parts that I did use already built, where the tracks from Friulmodel, the Bosch light and the sprockets. The rest is hand built. If you are looking for a challenge. This is it!! There is nothing better than to have a 1/35 Tiger built all in metal. This model will be remote controlled. I will also built from scratch. The gear box for the drive sprockets. Although I will be using the electric motor from faulhaber. So stay tuned for more pictures and as I progress with this project. Also see the video of this all metal Tiger 1 in 1/35 scale at;
