near finished build ,
The problem being ,which insignia should be used ? I would really appreciate anyone's assistance with the correct shoulder boars/insignia. From the reference material suggests artillery insignia, or, being 1945 did this fall under the panzerwaffe insignia? Please advise best suggestions .:) Thanks :) http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j1...3/insignia.jpg http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j1...arfinished.jpg |

Hello again,
Here we are now with the base covered and a brief groundwok covering started. This is the start to the ground layout. The border of the timber base was stripped back to be restained . This was the starter. http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j1...igerbase3a.jpg http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j1...igerlayout.jpg I've opted for 1 figure at the front to carry the fuel Here where we are now .Covered with wall filler ,sand and acylic paints and fine grass ,as per normal mix below http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j1...orkmixture.jpg http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j1...dworktools.jpg The figures are done http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j1...dtigercrew.jpg Michael |
Hi,
Here are some further images on the progress on the Jagd . Somewhat better to previous posts as I am using a different photo setup. This is by no means completed yet . I have just finished glueing the groundwork in place The painting and weathering is yet to come.:yell::yell::). There will be 2 figures on the ground.I've canned 1 of them and will replace out with someone else so I'm going through the collection to work out which 1 This is where we are now . http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j1...r24thNov12.jpg http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j1...114thNov12.jpg http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j1...r34thNov12.jpg http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j1...104thNov12.jpg http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j1...r94thnov12.jpg http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j1...124thNov12.jpg http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j1...r64thNov12.jpg I hope you like the new images . Thanks Michael |
whilst waiting for this
http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j1...ps58f5b416.jpg I decided to build the Bronco 25 pounder in the interim .To fill in time...waiting...and waiting.... What a challenge :yell::yell:eek::) http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j1...psaedea4a6.jpg Ok ,so back onto the base We needed to change the colour from an artifical looking groundwork to something with colour. I use a Tamiya dark green as the base to work to http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j1...ps07881360.jpg This is to build depth in detail Start from a dark colour and build up ,happy days:D:) From here we use various shades of green and flat earth and brown And have a wine to check the results :) sorry , have a wine during painting.... And the result http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j1...ps83392e77.jpg http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j1...ps5b5dcfff.jpg Thats it ....till 2013....we move on Happy new year :yell::) Michael |
