itīs been a while since my last post as I drowned in work lately.
As I have two weeks off work, I decided to work a bit on a pretty unusual kit (at least unusual for me
).
So, this is my latest build,
Academyīs M113A1 ACAV,
besides the base kit, I used:
PE - Eduard 35430 (exterior) und Eduard 35426 (interior),
Nuts and Bolts - Masterclub (different sets with different sizes),
scratched parts made from Plasticsheet,
Weld beads made from Magic Sculpt,
some Legend parts,
.50cal - Academy,
Tracks - AFV Club
Even though I used almost every part from Eduardīs Interior-set, I still chose to close almost every hatch as the interior still wasnīt correct. So, as I didnīt feel like spending more time with it (and as I hadnīt enough pics of it), I chose to close them.
The AFV-tracks arenīt the best set I ever used. Even though the box said workable, I had to glue them and they needed a lot of work as I had to sand every link to make it fit. Besides that, they lack the track bolts which I made from punched plastic sheet.
So, as my main interest is WW2 and I donīt know anything about M113s, I would love to hear your opinion on it and if there is anything that is missing or needs to be changed.
