Hello to anyone's stumbling for chance in this post!
I'd like to do too what Arild did and make a little introduction of myself in this Community:
I'm 44, married, no children, living in Bologna, which is a mid size city in northern part of Italy.
I resumed this great hobby almost three years ago, and now, after another pause of nearly an year caused by family's troubles, I'm back again at my workbench.
I'm only interested in German WWII AFV and softskin vehicles, with a predilection for the mid-late eastern front period.
Here is some pictures of my workspace - which is located in the cellar of the building where I live:
I know, it is a real mess, but I like it!!!
Here is a part of my reference library - I keep the expensive and rare books in my flat:
And here are my future projects:
And finally here are my indispensable tools: those I cannot go without - from left to right:
Xuron micro shears - The best in my opinion!
Micro-mark tweezer nipper - they are really sharp and makes perfect despruing
Swann-Morton with a small 15 blade, perfect for working in very small places
A needle point tweezer
A small needle file with a round and a flat side
A sort of a sculpting tool useful for applying putty in confined places
Soft sanding pads
Hope not being boring...soon will try to post a couple of my initial models!
Thanks to all who had the patience to read ( and watch..) until this point!
Cheers,
Luca Tolomelli
