This on I bought yesterday just to see if DML has improved their 72-scale family. Of course, favourable reviews helped in my decision. I want to paint this in early 3-tone camo, pics anyone? There is lot of decals in kit but according to instructions none are used!!!
AS this was going to be quite OOB experience I started with front. Pieces go together quite well if you manage to keep all parts in box. I didn't with one front towing part which flew into void or something  First glued MG station which had a tricky positioning but box art to the rescue

Front plate went in place easily.

I wanted to use PE screen for intake so some very crude interior must be built.

Luckily Aber provides some good reference in 1/35 scale so this was easy.

Rear plate is missing a hatch! So one has to be scribed. I'm not sure if it had to be round or square so I decided to scribe a square one.

Some scribing templates has found their way to my tool box so finding a right one wasn't too difficult.

Plate secured to table with Tamiya tape and needle ready to do the job. Luckily those chubby fingers wasn't in the way

Scribing was done in sections as there were no big enough template to do it one time.

Scribing done. It is not totally perfect but good enough for me. Sorry about the poor photo quality.
More of this later,
