Hi Guys,

although I joined the Planet a while ago I never introduced myself, like most of the new members do now. So here we go:

My Name is Ambjoern I am 45 years old and I live in Switzerland. I live in a little village called Auw which is about 10 Minutes from the Town of Zug. The Town of Zug is located just 30 Minutes south of Zürich. I am married since 20 years and have 3 kids, two daughters (7 and 20) and a son (17). I have been working as a IT-Specialist/Programmer since 27 years. Since 13 years I am a selfemployed consultant and I work mainly for the swiss banks.

I grew up in Stockholm, Sweden and moved to Switzerland at the age of 18. I started modelling when i was 4, when my father let me assist him in building his Planes. When I was ten years old Tamiya started their 1:35 Military line and I was hooked to german armour. I built mainly german armour, dioramas and figures.
I participated in several local competitions and even placed first in some of them. Then I lost some speed at the age of 15 when I started to find women and partying more interesting than tanks and figures

I never lost contact with my hobby in the past years although I was not building any kits. I constantly bought magazines and visited hobby shops to check the news on the market. Then I took the step out of the shades and joined PlanetArmor, I even applied for a vBench straight from the start.

I have been busy cleaning up the cellar lately, trying to free up a little area where I can work. Until now I was using my portable workbench, but it was a bit cumbersome having to clean up every evening

Here is how my portable workbench looks like:

Here is the corner i managed to free up in the cellar:

and from another angle:

Some of the kits I bought in the past years:

And some more:

And even more:

And more:

lots of work left
