After being bogged down by some finishing work on a few other projects I felt like I needed a breath of fresh air. Something different from dunkelgelb and 88mm barrels.
This kit is a real pleasure to build. Nice crisp detail, comfortable number of parts and the now classic Tamiya fit qualities. I managed to build it pretty much in one evening. I left the MG assembly for the morning so as not to fall asleep behind the desk.
I will not use the kit tracks and try to get some Friuls. I am thinking of doing an Afghan version so I can be more creative with the paintwork.
