Keeping the momentum here.....
A nice "little" kit from Trumpeter. They seem to be a bit hit or miss lately, and I was reluctant after the Hotchkiss kit to go after this one. But after some nice reviews I had to give her a go. Besides what's to lose when it costs about eighteen bucks?
A few shots of the major subassemblies:
Test fitting of these componants showed the fit to be dead on.
I started up with the cannon instead of the usual roadwheels start. Here is three stages built up. Overall fit was good, did take some filling and I can see looking at the pictures some additional Mr. Surfacer is needed. Amazing how you can "proof" your model looking at pictures of it.
The mounting bit was kinda fiddly and didn't square up quite right, but I couldn't get a good clear shot of this area. I will try again tonight. But no major headaches to warn of.
Also glued the barrel together and sanded her up. But not exciting enough to take pictures of yet.
Adding a shot of the instructions:
Now I guess I will have to move on to the roadwheels.
