Hi again guys...
Man, this has been a long project, spanning over three years, one year of waiting for missing parts(a lot of them), one trip to the Koblenz museum in Germany for study of the original gun and completing several volumes of the Cursing dictionary...!
Well now it's very close, at last... A few more days of sanding and dry fitting these teeny weeny resin bits and breaking them at least twice of course...
Some info; The kit is from Precision Models of Belgium, a quite rare gun, 8 saw service, Eastern front and the Normandie area, caliber is 21cm, muzzle velocity is at the most 905 mps/2969fps, combat weight around 25300 kilos, barrel is about 11 meter in length so it's quite large.
Some scratch building had to be done, In the photos you'll see the recoil cylinder system completely rebuilt, although not finished in the pics and a few more parts was changed.
You'll have to exuse the photos, the gun is so large that it is difficult to photograph it properly.
