Hi planet,
Some time ago I came up with an idea depicting a scene from Barbarossa period. I had old ESCI leIG 18 and zvezda's Ba 3 so I decided to put them together in one scene. These models aren't amazing but they were quite nice to built. And here's the story:
The whole scene is located in a village somewhere in Western Ukraine. Red army men are retreating in a rush and leaving their broken or damaged equipment behind them. German SS infantry attacks and this LeIG 18 is giving fire support for advancing troops.
The figures are conversions of DML's SS Sturmpioniere and one figure is from LAH at Kursk set. Actually everything except sunflowers (which are from Aber) is scratchbuilt. The cotage is from balsa, pottery is from Magic Sculpt, fence is from thin wood sheet used for furniture maintenance.
Everything is painted in humbrols and artistic oils (figures and weathering).
I still have to add more hay bundles to the gun, some gear to the SS men and work a bit more on the camo pattern (I'm not good in painting camouflage...yet)
Here are some bigger one's:
