Hi all
This model is a model that I started several years back. I think it was in 1998! back then it was the first off its kind in plastic and the manufacturer was from Russia!. Since then I have left the build and started the build many times. It's no walkover, there are many things that I have changed and many fit problems have made this build very difficult.
I have changed the whole running system for a set of sprues from Tamiya from their Marder III. The whole "Hängelavette" or turret is from a Dragon Sd. Kfz 250/9. I have changed the fenders over the tracks with a set from Eduard i etch.
The tracks is a set from Dragon in plastic for the Pz 38. the sprochet wheel is a Friulmodelissimo in metal(The correct late one.) Here is some pictures.

This is the box-art in the original set issued from VM in 1996.

This is a picture of the instructions from Eduard and the two figures from Warriors.

This is the only sprue-frame used from Dragons Sd.Kfz 250/9 Neu.

The two sprue-frames from Tamiya Marder III ordered as spare parts from Rainbow Ten in Japan.

This is a side view of what I have done so far.

Side view from the other side.

Same side

The model seen from front.

From above. You can see the different parts here.

The two large boxes in the back of fenders is homemade

The model seen from behind.

A better view of the two fenderboxes made from Evergreen styrene. The original from VM is clumsy and useless!

Close up of the front sprocket from Friulmodelissimo and the Tamiya wheels.

An overall view of the turret from Dragon. It just fits in. and is far better than the original turret from VM which is wrong in dimensions.

Here is one of the major fit problem in the original kit. I order to get the correct shape It is nessesary to add some strips othervice there was a gab between the parts.

Closeup of the turret.

The small boxes in etch from Eduard is very nice, the original from VM is useless!

Again a view of thew turret around the top of the superstructure It was nesseary to add strip to get a correct fit.

A closeup again of the top af superstructure to show the fit problem.

Same fit problem again from the right side.

A little dry fit of the two figures from Warrior made for this turret type.
Well that all for now. comments welcome.
