Sd.Kfz. 251/9 Ausf. D early

Hey everybody, I guess it´s been a while....
Anyway, this is my latest kit, Tamiya´s old Sd.Kfz. 251/9 early.
In a time AFV and DML gives us plenty of 251s, this kit is still a pretty good kit, but benefits from some improvement.
I made some attempts to bring it in some good shape, but there is still room enough for much more work for better modellers than me.
I hope DML gives us this version sometime soon as this is my favourite version besides the /1.
Anyway, here’s what I used:
Some parts from DML and AFV which were in my spare box, some plastic sheet (mainly for the inner structure and the rivets), some wire and some screws taken from old kits. The tracks are the rubber ones from AFV (I know what you guys think, but they really are very good).
I had some problems with the Tamiya Decals, the tactical symbols, because the washing settled under them even though I sealed them (the turpentine I used washed away the Future I used), but Oh well, I still like the kit.
The tactical numbers, the shipping stencil and the Balkenkreuze were taken from DML, the Abnahmestempel on the License plates from Archer.
The exhaust and the tools still are a bit glossy as the oils I used aren’t dry yet. The bare metal foil for the mirror is still missing but will be added soon.
Painting was done with Tamiya for the Dark Yellow and Gunze for the green (which sprayed much better than Tamiya´s colour).
Weathering (like always not much as I like it) was done with Oils and Acrylics.
Chipping with Vallejo (brush and a sponge).
Ok, I hope you like my kit.
Comments and critics always more than welcome.

Oh, and sorry for my poor English.

Happy Modelling
