Pz.III Ausf.J (DML 1/35)

Hey Guys,
instead of starting my M13/40, I gave the new DML Pz.III Ausf.J a go.
Actually I was ready to start the M13, but as the ModelVictoria Updateset I ordered was cast really bad, I decided to contact the manufacturer and they will send me some new parts.
Well, to the III.
The Kit is pretty awesome, same as the IV I built before. Details and fit are great and I can only recommend them.
I decided to use a ABER-Barrel for it, some Friultracks and another time another turned Modellbauwelt-Bliestal Antenna.
I added the wiring for the lights and horn with two different thicknesses of lead wire and gave the armored covers on the engine deck their casting structure with my Dremel. Lastly I added the weldings on the left and right engine air intakes using thin lead solder.
As you can see, I decided to build my tank as a short barreled one with additional armor as those are rarely seen and I like the look of it .
Iīm still pretty mad about the Decal-Issue I wrote about in the Market-Forum and decided to order some Bison Decals. Maybe the Division emblems can be used. We will see...
The version I chose carries a monotone paintjob of Dark Yellow (well, at least that is what DML tells me, I donīt have a clue).
It should be interesting to see how it turns out as the last time I weathered a Dark Yellow vehicle without camo was almost 10 years ago. I hope it doesnīt turn out too boring. Iīm more used to Dark Grey vehicles when it comes to monotone schemes.
Should be fun .

Enough spoken, here are the first pics of the unprimed kit:

As you can see I didnīt care much about the white balance as Iīm pretty sure we all know how an unprimed kit looks like .
I will take more care of that as I progress.

Hope you will enjoy my Blog.
And sorry that I havenīt done a full build Blog, but that would have been to boring as there actually are no issues with the kit except for the some flaws in the instructions.
