Sherman ARV

Hi all!

This is the sherman ARV based on the old Dragom M4A4 kit. I build this on about a year ago.

I used the Legends conversion for this, Aber PE, Fruil tracks, AFV suspension, AFV track links from the spare parts box. steel wire and a bit of evergreen.

Two weeks ago a sprayed the tank with Tamiya dark green wich was lightened a couple of times with dark yellow. The wood is painted using the Bas Hermsen way. The ground ankors and cables will be painted black first then in Vallejo oily steel in some sort of almost covering drybrush. On the side of the vehicle you can see grey spots. In this place there need to be some parts wich i removed temporarely for easier painting. When the parts are back in place the grey spots won't be visable anymore. When everything is painted then the washes, drybrushes and the rets of the weathering wil follow. There are a few spots wich a missed with painting wich need to be done.

For the markings i choose those of the british eight armoured brigade. I choose only voor the unit insigna on the front and the back of the vehicle using some artistic freedom.

Oops, a bit of overspray

This is most of the baggage for the motordeck. This was also sprayed with tamiya dark green and lighted with dark yellow. I tried to give al the parts differant shades of green for some contrast.

Till so far. Comments are welcome.

Regards,

Richard
