Hello Planet people.
Here is something I've been working on for a few nights, 4 to be exact.
This photo above is from the excellent book T-34 Mythical weapon, by R. Michulec, Zientarzewski/Airconnections.
I wanted to maybe finish something relatively quickly, and this seemed like the one.
I am building this as close to OOTB as possible, with the exception of fruils which I had already, and whatever scratch build I do. I willl end up scratching the fenders, as there are not much left on this one, as well as the engine louvres/screens. Other than that, I need only to buy one thing, the Maxim machine gun that is on the rear deck. Anyway, without further adieu....
The lower hull and suspension is finished, nothing fancy like working suspension.....roadwheels still need a final cleanup and some chunks taken out for wear as this tank is depicted at the end of the war. Btw, it is a tank manufactured by factory #183 "lateish" 1944.
I textured the hull with Tamiya grey putty, and some liquid testors, as well as the commanders turret and the armored guards over the fans.
The hull before surgery....
dryfit of the major parts....
and a standin for the Maxim gun....
and a few of the track links with evergreen pins with mushroomed ends...
thats all for now....hope you like.
