Info on Afrika Korps please

Any buffs out there can tell me how far east the Korps went ? Would be interested to know in relation to todays borders.

Also, as for Panzer 3's and 4's what would have been the most common versions used ?

Tis all part of a cunning plan I have for a dio that has been banging around in my mind for yonks. Might as well try and make the thing and exorcise my head !
