Ok so this is not only my first vBench, but the first time I have shown anyone outside my wife and cat, my models, so please try not rake me over the coals right away

This post will serve three purposes:
1. Experience in posting to a vBench
2. Experience in model making.
3. Experience in photographing 'bench top' objects.

The second point I hope to solve over many years with input from wherever I can get it.

I chose this model because it was on sale in Medowhall Sheffield, last time I was in the UK (2005), I think it was 9.99 GBP. Amazingly this survived getting back to the US in checked luggage, along with 3 other models.

So this is the model I am finishing up. The build is pretty much per instructions, except for the canvas in the basket, and the tent and bedrolls on the sides. These were made up from tissue paper soaked in water and white glue.

I know the box is for the IFOR cammo and markings, but I wanted a desert one, so I painted it in this color. Yes the model is missing its 'desert' upgrades but I make models I like first, and historically accurate second. Thats why I have a Mosquito FB in Luftwaffe 'Defending the Reich' colors, but we won't go there so not to offend the AFV Gods.

I wanted to buy the upgrade set for this, but since it 4x times the price of the model, I think not.

Hope you like the photo's so far, next time I will use Aperture to process the images. Not sure if I can use RAW here, or if you can view RAW in the waste of space 'IE' browser.

Next up, is to complete the painting and start on the weathering.

Please, any input would be appreciated

Thanks
