For many years I have been following the threads on this website and am thrilled.
My Favorite vBench is Larry Bates Tamiya Panther G from the year 2005.
I decided to build the kit also. I consider myself close to the tips and tricks that Larry needed for the construction.
At that time the kit is approximately 60% finished. On the hull only a few small things are missing. I have not started to build Turret and Drive yet.
I want to show some pictures in the next days showing my progress so far and then live aboard in the further construction.

The remains of a Dragon Panther 6268, I received as a gift from a friend (I will here take only a few parts)

I raised the section in front of the drivers' hatch with some plastic card

cut out the parts for the commanders periscope from the dragon hull
*

cleaned and dry fitted this parts to the Tamiya hull
*

added some welds around the raised section. Installed both hatches.

had to scratch this hook with plastic-card. Bought the kit on ebay and it came with the broken off hook .... an the broken part was not in the box
