Hi guys,
after some time, just visiting the page, I decided to come back to the planet with my new "summer project" ....and with this, with my first British tank....
Well, I know the VM kit has a number of problems...to say the least... and I must be crazy to start that project, but the Bishop since a long time is my favourite British tank.... and this kit is the only game in town!
So I guess I have to scratch/correct the one or the other detail!?!!
If anyone of you has some further information about this vehicles and their uses in northern africa in 1942, any info would be great!!!
I found a bunch of pictures in the web and for building the suspension I will use some pictures of some Valentine tanks....
Ok, last week I started with the lower hull and suspension
The basic layout of the Vignette was inspired by a famous picture of a Bishop tank in Sicily (I guess the most of you will know which one I mean?!).
Until now, the corrections are limited.... only filling some moulding holes and I moved up the return rollers a few milimeters!
The moveable suspension is great

and perfect for my scene!!
I added a few more bolts, because of the later position of the model...
And some more little details on the rear
Next big step will be the upper hull....
Hope you guys like it till now and as I said, any informations would be great!!!
Best regards
Volker
