T34/85 (Tamiya old school - 1:35)

As a detour from my Elefant build, I pulled this old fella off the shelf with a view toward building it with minimal aftermarket accessories, concentrating instead on paint and weathering.

The built up model. I turned a barrel, replaced the grab handles with brass, replaced the tie-downs with wire, added turret weld seams and added to the cast texture with Tamiya surface prep. Rather than priming the entire model, I brushed surface prep on the smaller metal parts.
