Ola People
Been aay for a while. Not only from here but from modelling alltogether. But I kinda am getting back and I thought it would be fun to show you guys what I was working on now.
The recepy:
- RSO boatbody (SchwimmKorper) conversion from New Connection
- Steyr RSO from Italeri
- PE for the RSO from Eduard
- Workable tracks for the RSO from Modelkasten
Again a nice mix of brands and a little bt of scratch to enhance some kitparts. Thanks to a fellow modeler I also got a nice idea for the underground but more on that later.
The Eduard PE set almost seems to be for a different vehicle. Never have I had such a badly engineered PE set to work with. It is almost like they did not have the kit at hand when they designed it. Some parts simply don't fit are to large and get covered by plastic parts of the kit itself while they should not be.

Then we also have the next issue. The kind people of New Connection put a wrong door in the kit. See the problem. I got 2 left doors. while the RSO really has a dooropening on the other side as well.
I did not feel much for contacting NC to tell them and wait till they send a replacement which makes that this project will be halted for a second time and instead I decided to modify one of the kit doors. New Connection did definately the same with the doors for their master
Only a few small parts need to be added around the vehicle, and some PE as well. Then it can go in the spraybooth and then it is time to start thinking creatively about the groundworks.
