Hello! This KV-85 is actually an "Eastern Express" model, with some good details spoiled with numerous flaws and inaccuracy issues.
Most of the small delicate parts are unusable as they are badly molded and I think I have right to say that kit is impossible to finish OTB.
To solve most of it problems up, I was forced to use chronologically last of the famous "Trumpeter" "KV" series (no. 358). As I mentioned when introducing my self, I do not like using and working with photoetched parts...I guess I am just to old . I ordered one sprue extra from nice "Tamiya" JS-2, and there is a lot of miliput, some handwork and plus few other things...resin engine hatch from "Mori" etc...
As I do not want to bother You with my bad english, here are few pictures..."Trumpeter's" plastic parts are light grey, and "Tamiya's" are green...the rest is quite recognizable.
This picture illustrates that literally every piece requires a bit of work...
Turret ;
I am waiting some resin bolts and styrene hex rods to arrive...till that time...hope You like this !
