Something New"CHEAP"

I picked this up at a yard sale or jumble sale as some say.

For only 50 cents,I just couldn't leave without it.

It says Tamiya 1970 on the bottom and appears to be
the early Tiger with intake filters.
The zimm looks like it was done with a hot screw driver.

Is it worth saving and what would you suggest to do to
make it a keeper?
