Hello everybody,
I concider myself to be someone who builds more for fun than capturing complete accuracy. This is why I allow myself more artist license than perhaps I ought to and I rarely purchase PE sets, working track or resin additions. With that said, I do make an effort to improve obviously lacking details with items found around the house.
I have been becoming more serious about my builds recently, and may even someday become a rivet counter. However for now I'm still working on refining my finishing skills and don't feel it would be wise to sink a lot of money into a kit which will only end up looking bad because of a botched weathering job. Hopefully I can pick up some skills from some of you on this site and speed the whole process along.
In the meantime enjoy my work and don't hesitate to offer constructive criticism. I build both 1/35 and 1/48 scale armor so you'll see a bit of both on here. Below is a sample of some of my more recent builds.
Below is Skybow's 1/48 early Tiger. The kit is packed with fine detail and I had a blast building it. I'm not thrilled with the finish and may end up repainting the beast in a panzer-grey scheme

This is DML's T-34/76 (1941) in 1/35. It was my first attempt to weather armor with pastels, and I think the effect is pleasing overall. I biffed the PE grille, so don't ask me why its not there.
thats all for now folks. I'll have my in progress shots up soon.
