Hi guys,

This is my first vBench. All comments & criticisms are welcomed.

My personal opinion of this kit, EXCELLENT. The fit is fantastic. In fact, it's so good that most of the main structures can be fitted without the use of cement.

Most of the big parts are already precut, so sanding of the remaining stubs is all that's required.

While there are seam lines and ejector marks on the pieces, i haven't come across a kit that's seam line and ejector mark free, so i don't see these as reasons to complain.

Some complaints. There are some sprue that are extremely 'greasy' from the mold release agent, so soaking and sanding with detergent is a must. I would also recommend priming this kit. Since the parts are glossy black, spotting of errors will be way easier if primed.

Another point to note is that regular plastic cements such as Tamiya, Revell and Gunze doesn't work. I've used Plastruct Plastic Weld and also MEK on this kit.

Here as some pictures of how much progress i've made. I haven't started on the 4 carriages as they seem a tad too tedious for me, especially with the gigantic superstructure calling. The main structures in the photos have been test fitted without the use of any cement, so they will be disassembled for painting.

I am sorry that i will not be able to provide a regular update as i have to move the entire kit out from my room just to take the photos.
