G'day Arild,

Thanks for your response.

I have a pretty steady hand but some of what I'm seeing really goes beyond this - I have seen 1/72 decal uniform insignia by one manufacturer but they stopped producing them a few years back due to some quality issues.

So, I'm thinking there is either some tool that I'm not otherwise aware of (I have a 000 brush but it feels like a 111 when I'm doing this really fine stuff) or, yes, there are other decals out there.
