Hello all - I havent posted in here in a while so I thought I'd post what I have in front of me at the moment on my workbench. I wish I had taken in progress pix but I didn't have time for any frills. So far this guy has taken me 3 weeks to get it to this point (95% done).
This is a Tamiya NZ 350 with Royal Model photoetch and a little brass wire here and there. Added some stowage from the spares box and made a traffic control paddle from scratch. Painted with Tamiya and Vallejo. The metallic parts of the engine were painted with Alclad metallizer paint, then polished.
The figure is a Tamiya from some other set I had. The head and hands are from Warriors, and I added some ABER and Lion Roar photoetch details to him like belt buckle, gorget, and collar insignias. The goggles are from the spares box, and the pistol and map case are resin items from Verlinden. I drilled a hole in his hand and stuck a peice of wire in there for his ciggie. Face painted with oils, the rest with Vallejo.
DISCLAIMER: I'm NOT a figure painter!
All thats left (I think) is some minor detail painting and to dust it up with MIGments.
