Hi there modelers.
I've started on a new small diorama that will take place on the eastern front (northern part) in 1942. The title is "Anfang vom Ende", which means "the beginning of the end".
It'll depict a PzKpfw. IV F2 covering the retreat of German soldiers. The enemy has broken through the lines and seems to be everywhere. The soldiers brings with them a wounded comrade, so they will be the main attraction. My goal is to show fear and exhaustion in the soldiers faces, with bullets whizzling all around (hard to show though

).
The tank and infantry will belong to the 12th Pz.Div. I still have decals from Archer Transfer for this unit and I like the northern part of the front, so this suit just fine (even on the economic side).
The tank is from Dragon and is really something

. Didn't expect it to be, since I built there Aufklärungspanzer 38 (also a SMART-kit) and I hated it. With Terry Ashley's review as a guide the progress moves slowly forward. I've planned to build the kit OOTB, but who knows.....
For the first time I'm actually measuring the time during the build. Thought it would be interesting to see how much time is spent on a diorama from start to finish.
There's really not much to show yet, regarding that I've spent 9 hours

so far on the tank, but here we go.
Total Building Time (TBT): 9 h.
All kind of hints, tips and comments are highly appreciated during this build.
Thanks for looking
