sIG33 auf Pz. III - Escape Hatch?

i need your help guys,

during some research for my sig33 auf pz III i have looked up all of my reference and one thing remains a mystery: the hull escape hatches!

does anyone of you know if the sig33 had those escape hatches or not?

i have learned that they have been build on early stug chassis and some (few) drawings in my books show ausf a stugs with escape hatches, most drawings and photos show them without!

i am a little bit confused whether to add those escape hatches to my sig33 or not and want to have this issue sorted out before i start with the build!

can anybody clarify this topic to me?

EDIT: i forgot to mention that in the panzer III spielberger book there is a sig33 auf pz III drawing by mr doyle which shows those hatches but this is one drawing out of a lot of stug photos and drawings not showing them!
