1/72 DML M4A1 Sherman that is.
I picked up this kit at the local shop for $10 just for S&G earlier this week. While I'm waiting for paint to cure on the jeep, I thought I'd dive in. This build will be a "weathering mule", one where I will experiment with various techniques that I've wanted to try, but have been afraid to do so. This way, if I stuff it up, I'm only out $10. It will also be an excellent exercise in airbrush control, given the diminutive size.
Upon opening the box, I was quite pleasantly surprised. This is nice little kit! Fine detail, and some of the features you'd expect to see in the 1/35 big brother such as PE, metal towing cable, etc.
First off the obligatory pics showing contents.

To give you an idea of size, I've placed three coins (Cdn quarter, UK 10 pence, 50 Euro cents) in the pics that most of you have in your pocket. My apologies to the friends to the south, as I had no US quarter, but yours is the same size as mine.
