Hey everybody,
my last posting was long time ago, but today I want to show you my latest work: Trumpeter's E-25.
This is my second E-25 and I decided to scratch the roof part to improve my scratching skills and to have a different E-25 in the showcase.

All white parts are scratched, the black welding seams are from Archer.
Next I painted the whole tank yellow (mix of Gunze acrylics) and highlighted the top edges with a lighter color:
The steel plates over the fans were painted with Tamiyas, Vallejos and oils. The fire extinguisher is from Ausfwerks with a decal from Peddinghaus. I got it from Markus Lack, thanks again for it Markus!
After adding the Balkenkreuze from Archer the fun part began: the weathering! I started the weathering process with fading. For this step I used different oils like red, orange, black, brown, buff... I added more white to the top edges to highlight this parts again. The next step was the washing, for this purpose I used Migs brown and dark wash.
While the oils were drying I painted the IR gear in another hue of yellow than the tank to have a bit contrast. Again I highlighted the upper parts of the gear. The IR device is from Tamiya and I also got it from Markus.
I started on the chipping process with Vallejos buff for the yellow tank and a mixture of different red colors for the primered parts, like the wheel.
Later I will add a dark brown color to the deeper chips. To test the look of it I already applied camo black brown to the red wheel.
Yesterday I began to paint two fuel cans from Tasca, they (and other items) will add a bit life to the tank hopefully!
This is where I am now, I hope you like the progress of my E-25.
I keep you informed about further progress.
Thanks for looking!
