i got my vbench!
well okay gentlemen here now i want to give you an overview of my current projects in the row, my stash (to proof that i am also quite insane in my brain

) and my latest acquisition because i cannot stop buying new stuff (

)
i know that i have a lot to learn but i try my very best to improve my (low) skills from project to project ... please excuse the poor quality of the photographs - i aint no rastelli of photography!
let's get started

:
here we got the chaos of my workbench to proove that modelling sees no genderdifferences but just screwed enthusiasts

:
my ever growing stash of unbuild model kits:
an example of how i can freak out when visiting my local dealer:
my latest acquisition:
and finally my three current projects:
the zvezda panzerjaeger1 just with black base coating and three coats of different grey (
... still a long way to tipperary ...):
the
fliegersichttuch of shame is just a 5 minutes improvisation to hide some melting accident (i never, never again will try to heaten plastic with a lighter!)
the dml hornisse ... as i am focusing on the early war period and bought this kit (and the premium porsche king tiger from dml) before that decision i had something to do to avoid yellow painting - so i wanted to represent the prototype which was shown to hitler in october 1942 and which was completed in a haste and due to save ressources two coloured ... an already assembled and painted chassis and the newly constructed just primed hornisse section:
chassis, muffler and track (cannibalised friul from a stug3 ... i am aware of the fact that the guide horns are the wrong type and should be the hollow ones) still need a go ...
and here now the almost finished panzer38(t) ausf. e/f from tristar:
the muffler ... i do the mufflers with an oil paint base and real rust:
and at the end an impression of how it would look like when i put a filter over one of my model pics:
as mentioned in my introduction - don't expect updates too often as my friend is not too fond about me sitting on my workbench so i don't have time to build very often ...
thanks for looking, have a nice day and happy modelling
best regards,
laura
