Well, new project is a T-50 with Extra armor. I am going to use Mirage Hobby´s kit. As AM comes CMK Gun + Resin Mantlet and Eduard PE set. Original mold belong to Techmod and pretty old, therefore need too much cleaning etc. Kit has two option, a captured and modificated T-50 by Finnish army, or a Russian. My T-50 will be Russian with a what if slogan at turret. Hmm, actually, complete Model will be "what if"
As usually, first steps: Hull and wheels..
For AA, some of parts from hull must trim.
I must say, track-links are Horror!! And unfortunately, there is no alternative in market..
Also, all links has two parts..
And the "Magic tracks" :P
Sprockets are also full with problems.. There are no guide markings and need extreme cleanning..
CMK Mantlet is good but resin carrier is pretty big.
Dremel job!!
I saw off resin MG too.. I am going replace it with a custom made metal one.
Finally mantlet is ready for gun..
And a comparison between original gun!!
