A Panzer III converted...

Hi fellows!

In this topic,Iīll show you a conversion job.The original kit is a PzIII Ausf.M/N from Tamiya,a kit of the earlyīs 70.

The transformed one is a Pz Bef Wg Ausf E ( a Tank Command ).

It have had an important task: The conections between the Command and the Tank Batallions during the conflict.

I intend to do this,in two parts:

First,itīll be showed the modifications...

Second,itīll be dedicated to camouflage and weathering.

Now ,letīs go to see,The modifications/improvments:

A) TURRET:

1)The new front was sratchbuilt
2)The two small circulat hatches were installed.
3)The new cuppola design.
4)The roof was changed (plasticard).
5)A new barrel(37mm) was installed(in the real one it was dummy).See it:



6)The installation of two lateral hatches(resin copies ones).
7)The new position of the principal hatches.See:



The new rear design:




B) SUSPENSION:

1)The new shape of thr drive sprocket.
2)The shock absorbers mufflers.
3)New position of the return rollers.
4)The lateralscape hatches were installed.
5)The rear iddle was scratchbuilt.

C) THE TOP HULL :




THE NEW TOP SUPERSTRUCTURE ( SCRATCH) :

1-2)New visiors.
3-4)All the hatches were scribbing.
5-7)New position of the searchlights.The latches were resin copies.
10)The movable fenders done with aluminium toot paste.




11,12,13)The hatches were scribbing.
16)The big rear aerial.




The PzBefWgAusfE painted without any camouflage and weathering




In the next part,letīs go to the weathering!
