Got my VBench yesterday, so here is my 1st post. The following are pics of my recent projects that I have finished. Which is not completely true as I only finished construction, but they are still waiting for the airbrush. As I spray in the garage, where it is too cold now, wintertime for me is building time, so these models won't see
paint for some time. So here it goes:
First is a RPM Lorraine tractor, used as a prime mover for the 7,5 Pak on the eastern front in Winter 42/43. The RPM kit is a dog, AFV's Pak is fantastico:
Next we have Italeri's Mercedes 3000 with AM resin wheels and some scatchbuilt details:
Now for a modern style kit - Dragon's Jaboschreck. I built it OOP without the gun shields - it has the looks of a Star Wars Laser gun. Nice kit, still some small details to add.
Another gun, only a bit bigger. Precision's old resin 88 Pak, this one still stands well against AFV's new one. A added a lot of details like the brake tubes, electrical wiring,... I will put it behind a SWS Halftrack - Hungary 1945.
Now the last one that went off the workbench recently. Italeri GMC with CMK's tanker resin conversion, which is nice, but very heavy as the tanks are cast solid. I added Real Models resin tires with chains - they had more air-bubbles than a bottle of coke.
