sas jeep

ok i started this model about a month ago and just got hing up on the painting i used the salt technique oon this and also i scratch built afew things such as the bumper and the jerry can rack. for the paitning of the ammocans and jerry cans i wanted to give the impression that the RAF middle stone was just quickly brushed on.

now more about the jeep its self the kit is great but can be confusing the porportions are right or atleast look right compaired to my 1:1 1943 ford gpw (in the middle of being re built). when you get this you get the chice of heavy or light version. the heavy version had a .50 cal and 3 vickers one for the driver and a dual mount for AA. the heavy version was used for long trips and raids. the light version had a dual vickers for the passenger and a single vickers behind the passenger this was mainly used for recon
