It's been some time since my last posts, my apologies. I received and built this pre-release version of the Matilda this past May; the build and accompanying article was recently featured in the August issue of TMMI to coincide with the release of the kit. Due to the constraints of publication I wasn't able to share this project before now, and so, although the project has been completed for a little while I hope that seeing the new Matilda will be of interest to you.
First off some sprue shots: The detail of the parts is wonderful; very crisp with little to no seam lines or flaws. The modeler is given the option of using vinyl or link-n-length tracks. The detail is good on the vinyl, but better on the link-n-length.
