"LZ" Landing Zone

My diorama depicts a squad of Marines being offloaded from a "Huey" UH-1D and then forming a hasty perimeter on the landing zone in the Quang Tri Province, Vietnam as the chopper is about to take off. The helicopter is from Dragon and the figures are from Dragon, Master Box LTD and Verlinden. The chopper(my first one) and figures were painted with Tamiya Acrylics and weathered with pastels. The palm trees were made from scratch.
