I have been reading vBench blog for quite a while and finally decided to join in.
You do great job here and inspire me to work on my models.
So far lots of projects started but very very few finished
....
Have never been working on a Tristar model so far, but when 38(t) came out went for B and G straight away.
For starters I decided to do G and since its quite populair at vBench recently, I followed other builds closely.
Have to admit that so far falls together like "LEGO". The hull floor was a little bent when I opened the box but after hull sides and back plate were glued, it became straight. Have been using only superglue all the time with 38 and have to admit that goes better than with regular glue. Its my first try with this model and this technique.
No gaps so far and no putty at all and hope stays like this ...
So far made this progress:
Have to work more with light making next pictures as these seem dark I think.
Have the idea to do this one:
At one of Polish forums was told it should be grey not yellow like its in paintguide. Maybe you have some more reference on that ? I would like to have one in yellow or two tone scheme as B gonna be gray. Want to do German markings (not Slovak or Bulgarian).
