Hello all of you
My name is Adam Wilder. I have been modeling for most of my life. I am now 36 years old. I am currently employed at the model company MIG Productions.
I have been asked if I would be interested in participating on Planet Armor. This is my first blog here. I have another blog going for this model on the Mig Production forums. I am trying to keep some of the photos different on each blog.
I would like to thank my good friend Harry Steen and the organizers of PL for helping me to get set up here.
Attached are some photos of a Panther F I have been constructing and painting. I wanted to build one of the new DML Panthers but was a bit reluctant because of all of the great examples of these kits already constructed by some very talented modelers world wide. I decided to build the Panther F giving me some creative freedom allowing me to experiment with some different techniques I have not yet done before.
I was able to finish most of the chipping on the turret this evening. I am using a method new to me by starting with acrylics for the larger chips then changing over to oils, enamels and pigments for the final touches and scratches. I decided to finish the turret first to see how all of these steps would look together before moving onto the rest of the model. I am personally satisfied with the result.
What do you all think I should do with the turret antenna mount? How big was the antenna there?
Attached are a few more photos that most of you might have already seen.
Please let me know your thoughts if you can and thanks for your time.
Sincerely
ANPW
