hi guys,
vbench or not i give my project a kickoff to slowly bring you into the mood of this scenery ...
(i sent gordy a request with some issues as remark, got no answer or reaction so i will go without - the vbench is not that important at all)
i'll do that in a written manner like in my 1947 scenery and try to bring you on a journey of phantasy so it is lean back, read and enjoy for you:
the first seal: the white horse – the beast:
1 - „and i saw when the lamb opened one of the seals, and i heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, come and see.
2 - and i saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.“ (book of revelation 6:1-2)
august 1939: it was then when there still was peace and the world enjoyed it's last rollick summer for a long time with no one being aware of that. but the dark clouds of desaster already had started to accumulate on mankinds horizon with
the four horsemen of the apocalypse ready to bring mayhem to the world.
... and death put away his skythe and mounted a harvester as it was WAR!
the base is done 99,9% - the dio components will be posted one after another after the first seal has been opened (no martini no party - no vbench no sbs) but here are pictures of the diorama's components:
second seal:
third seal:
fourth seal:
fifth seal:
sixth seal:
seventh seal: the whole scenery!
while the lamb opens the seals i will work on the different protagonists - see you when the lamb opens the second seal!

(i watched one of my alltime favs movie lately - ingmar bergmanns masterpiece "det sjunde inseglet" - so don't be surprised!)
btw.: in memoriam Gregory John „Itchy“ McCormick:

and something for the germans in here
Todesstern Stuttgart (sorry non german folks - untranslatable jokes based on german dialect, the english version is absolutely unfunny contrary to this version!)
