Greetings all, and welcome to my first attempt at a vBench. I am mainly an aircraft builder, but dabble in armour subjects whenever I need to recharge my batteries. I do not have anywhere near the talent of most builders here, but I try, and am willing to learn new things. Current project is the Cyberhobby Panther F. As most of you know already, the contents are eerily similar to the Panther G Smart Kit, so if you have a case of dejavu when looking at the sprue contents, you'll know why. The Cyberhobby kit allows you to build one of two vehicles, a Prototype version or the "Production" version. Yes, I know this is a "paper Panther", but I like to be different. First off, here's what comes in the box:
Lower Hull for building the Prototype version:
Panther G Upper Hull:
Sprue A x 2
Sprue B: Panther F turret, "production" upper hull:
For those interested, here's a close up of the details to show what is different between the two upper hulls. 'G' (prototype) hull on left, 'F' (production) hull on right:
Sprue C:
Sprue D:
Sprue E x 4:
Sprue G:
Sprue F, J, K, L, TG, WB:
Generic decal sheet:
Photo-Etch frets:
Clear parts, a couple of slide molded parts, and various metal parts:
The kit comes with MagicTracks, but I won't be using them, as I have a set of Friulmodel tracks sitting in the spares box.
That's all folks. Build starts this evening. Thanks for looking.
Cheers,
Kevin
