And another one that's very close to the end...
I manage to do the hard work very fast and then stall on the details. Things like MG's, antennas or even simpler details. It seems that I don't want to let go...
Well, this one is a Tiran 5, using the Tamiya T55 and a Blast conversion set. Both kits are awesome. I'm a huge fan of Blast models for their quality and their service and they never let me down.
Kit Base: Tamiya T55
Conversion set: Blast Models
Tracks: Friul
Decals: Bison
.50 cal MG : Tasca
PE : Eduard
I have to thank the guys at idf-in-scale.com because without their invaluable help I could never do it. My Special thanks to Michael Mass and Adam O'Brien for their help and encouragement.
First steps. A few resin parts on the Tamiya Hull. The worst thing is ti replace the front section of the fenders

The fuel lines and light cabling can be seen in this one
I love these photos with the primer applied. It makes all the details stand out
In these photos the hull is ready for paint and there were some changes from the top photo. The most important is the suspension that was lowered a few mm to improve the stance of the tank
The base coat and a filter that almost ruined it. It was too yellow after the filter. I had to overspray a very fine mist of sand color + grey to put things where they should be. The hard part was to mask all the applied decals
I already have it weathered and the little tings are in progress. You know... MG's, antennas etc etc.
Hope you like it
