The Machine has Stopped - German Maus

Hey guys!

I know some of you build and paint models yourselves so I thought I'd bounce my current WIP off you. It's a piece for a local contest coming up at the end of September.

So without further ado, here's my current work in progress:

It's a Maus. My plan is to have it disabled from a "mobility kill" all beat up and ragged with a crying German soldier leaned up against it with the body of one of his squad mates next to him. On the ground there will also be charred Nazi flag as well. I plan on calling it "The Machine has Stopped".

It should be fun!

The white stuff is actually Tamiya putty that I used to create a texture to the metal to make it look like it was actually cast. The pictures aren't able to pick up the texture, but it's plain to see in real life.

Now back to working on the whole slew of road-wheels for this thing...

All the best,

Jake
