Hobby Boss V-150 with 20mm Oerlikon
Hello,
Here is a quick build that I wanted to do in order to get my mojo back. I've got too many kits that need finishing, but I keep stalling on them. My plan was to complete this out of the box build quickly and then follow on by finishing my other kits.
I built the interior in one morning whilst my youngest was at school. There are a number of ejection marks which are not too much of a problem as long as you are not going to open up the entire interior which is only basic. As I'm not going to do that, I didn't fill them.
Parts D12 and D19 (Accelerator pedal) took a bit of persuading, but one in I didn't need to glue them so good was the fit.
The basic engine (Parts D1, D10 and D13) had some fitting issues. I had to fill the gaps with filler.
Once that had been done and I'd filled some sink marks on the rear lower hull, I finished adding the interior.
I'm going to give the interior some paint, just to practice some new techniques.
The suspension is next and then the Upper hull and turret. Put it together, add some paint and lots of pigments and I'll hopefully be done.
I want to show a dusty and rusty V-150 in the service of the Chadian Army.
All the best
Toby
