This little project has been keeping me busy over the Christmas holidays. I found some shots of 22 PD Panzer IV's F2's in Sturm and Drang on the, you guessed it, Panzer IV, which provided the inspiration to start. These appear to be wearing the tropical paint job with grey over spray, so it will look the same as the box art.
It's hard not to love the DML Panzer IV's. They really do build up nicely, with superb detail and the right sit to them. I found it difficult to fault the kit, and as the photos show, I did only a very minor amount of detailing.
There is still the tow ropes and front shackle chains to add. The figures are from the terrific DML "German Tank Crew 1939-1943". I'm still to add the head phones and cables....as well as the press to talk dealy, sadly missing from the set.
