I've gotten it more or less set up for a filter; its painted and satin coated, but since I've never done one before, i'm not sure what to do next. Mainly I'm not sure which colors to use and if they should be spread uniformally or concentrated in specific spots. Any ideas?

any help will be greatly appreciated
