My intro
Okay, after constant urging and encouragement from fellow PA member/model kit tank factory, Lawrence Quah, I have now started my first post!
I have been building models since i was a kid many many moons ago and I've always prefered aircraft, but in the late 80s early 90s, i discovered small scale tanks. Esci was the culprit and the first 'braille scale' tank I purchased was the much loved/much hated Sherman M4A1.
I started getting serious abt modelling abt the same time i met Lawrence while working in a certain hobby shop in Swanston Street, Melbourne, Australia. This was the early 90s.
I went to work in Malaysia and Singapore after graduating from uni and modelling became more sporadic, I did lots of buying but my interest expanded into heaps of other genres, notably sci-fi, rally cars, and of course aircraft.
This was when i started on my Revell Panther A... things like marriage, career and other things interrupted the build and now, more than 10 years later I am restarting my Panther. Of course I have build many other kits in between but this panther was the one i always dreamt about going to town with.
I hope you enjoyed reading this as much I have enjoyed reading and looking at other modeller's posts here in PA.
