Hello everyone.
Seeing how much German armor is running thru the Vbench I decided to go to the other side of the fence and build something American made, so here is my M8 from Tamiya.
It won’t be an OOB job cause I will add some parts from the Verlinden kit and replace the tires.
Since this model is one of my sleepers (it has been in its box partially built for many years) there are no photos of the actual build itself. I will start here with the painting of the interiors.

Here the white basecoat has been applied and a gray wash was given to all the parts. A dry brushing with white followed that. Also, the seats were painted black. The floor, the radio, the jerry can and the intercom boxes were painted in OD Green color

Everything painted green received a black wash and highlights of OD Green and Sandstone. The wires were painted black. In the background you can see the fire extinguisher painted and ready to be installed.

Here I’m dry fitting the top of the hull. The dashboard was painted white and a little black wash was applied to the faces of the dials. I painted the steering wheel in black and gave it a coat of gloss varnish. Then it was glued in position as well as the extinguisher.
Until next time,
Ruben
