A Grossdeutchsland PzIII Ausf K with OSTKETTEN tracks.

This is a PzIIIAusfK command tank of the Gorssdeutschland Division that fought in Russian Front,probably one of the first units to be painted in Dunkelgelb in Germany.
To improve mobility in mud and snow a so called "Ostketten"tracks were issued to units fighting in Russia.Those widened tracks helped to negotiate in difficult terrains.
Now the photos of my model...It was assembled straight from the box.This model was done by DML and the tracks used were from DML too.It was painted with Humbrol enamels and weathered with oils and MIG pigments.
